Howdy peeps!

First off, apologies for the lack of postaing for over a month, guess posting just hasn't been that high on my list of things to do.

So... what's happened in the past ages? Well, sod all really. had an ok christmas and new year, got good pressies! tv and dvd combo, coloured hair gels, a book (already read), a gamecube game (already got), a new book, a game thingy similar to the cup-and-ball game, but goes round your waist, juggling boobs, a watch, genesis triple cd, four hats and went for dinner with Martina! :D

Yes, Martina came up to visit me at the weekend, and I had a hell of a lot of fun! I knew I'd missed her, but wasn't aware it was that much! sad, I know! :p So anyway, went to dinner at Lui's in Kettering, very nice meal, a bit much of it though! Then on to Liz's 18th birthday party, much alcohol was imbibed... woke up with monkey in my arms again, just how I like it :) , spent much of saturday in bed, then making a lego thing, then had my brother's 21st bowling thing. Was ok, don't think Martina liked it that much though. Sunday went by much too fast for my liking and all too soon I was saying bye to Martina again, something I don't like doing. But she's back here tomorrow! WOO!!!

Righty right, I'm off to get some food.

Hey up,

Well I've had a busy coupla days ( girlfriend and family wise ) and this is the 1st time I've BEEN on the internet in any big way in the last coupla days ( ok weekish ). So this is basicly a note to say that I'm here but I havent had a chance to write.

The Internet is now working again so I have no excuse. Whilst I was waiting for my darling girlfriend to email me I have been reading Bernies Blog ( which is here: http://bernzgoodjohn.blogspot.com/ for anyone who's interested ). I was comparing the quality of the posts, and I have come to the followin conclusion. B will make an excelant colluminist when she has completed her journalism course. When I see the tilt she puts on her post, I know that they are of a higher quality, than mine. Mine are not clear conscise and with a message unlike hers. I usually only end up writing rambling posts about nothing in particular, where as B writes hers as a collumn. I havnt had a chance to hav insights in2 her mind, what with us living 500 odd miles apart, but Im guessin she always sets out with the end result in mind. So I think I will keep this post short. Im going to write one soon on the Band Aid single. You have been warned !!

Just letting ppl know Im still alive. Despite coming off the back off workin a 4 day weekend ( worked Fri - Mon solid ) Im used to working Fri n Sat n then Sun n Mon off, so I was knackered. I saw my adorable girlfriend yesterday and theres a fairly good chance I will see her 2moro as well. So thats grand in the general scheme of things.
Also I have Caesar III which I bought last Thursday, which I am now addicted too. I have gone from being on MSN LOADS to not being on it at all, that is mainly because I have Caesar to play on. Its been getting me into trouble with Hannah too, but that isnt overly important as I can deal with her. It has however got the crictiques ( or rather critique ) who say I spend to much time on MSN off my back, he knows who he is. So it dose have its + side. Also its great fun fighting off invaders and generally running your own affairs. That game also proves that I have no skill what so ever in managing money.
Anyway ppl, toodlez and all that cos my ramblement has come to an end and I am off to play Red Alert II with Roo.

Literally a large weekend

This weekend I was NOT short of things to do. On Friday I worked a 9 till 2 shift at work, I came home on the bus and had email conversations with Liz and Ellie and went to help my Dad with some manual labour. Then after dinner, I went out to Sawyers to see Deep Heat ( Hannah's Dads band ) I was tempted not to go because I really couldnt be bothered but in the end I went because I said I would to Hannah and I would NEVER have heared the end of it if I hadn't gone. I started the night at The Earl with Stace and Poppy. Poppy was adobted by me as my lil sis so she wanted her big bro to come to the pub wiv her. So I did for a short while ( 1 bottle ) and then I went to Sawyers.
Hannah was coming in the back door as I came in the front so we sat near the middle of the pub. By virtue of not having a table sorted before hand. Han and I chatted. Then Craig turned up ( after I txt him to get his arse in gear ) He's got a new phone but thats by the by. We left at 12 after the band had finnished. The band played from 20 past 9 till 12. It was ment 2 be starting at 9. It dosent matter had a nice night, Han and Lizzie were being dancers for the band so me and Craig sat there definately NOT dancing until we got dragged onto the dance floor. We escaped though :).
Anywho.......................after work on Saturday, I came home and had dinner and ended up getting ferryed into town by my Dad ( A VERY unusal occurence ) but he did have a reason. Meet up with Maz in the Prince and we watched the Rugby League until 8. I really can not understand how Rugby League can be good ? It bores the crap out of me, whereas I can watch Union I dont no y but I really dont like Rugby League ( it was quite funny when the British no.8 I think started on the Aussie no.11 and the whole two teams piled in ) Then in the end we went to The Earl to collect Poppy and Stace. Walked up to the bar and ran into Rach Hay, she is really cool and I havent seen her in AGES. Also Louise was with her, for thoose who dont know Louise is a friend of Rach's who lives near Stamford who I have spoken to online but have never meet in the flesh. She is tiny bless but shes lovely. After Poppy and Stace went to Watercress Harry's, Maz and I took Rach and Louise down to the Prince. Which was COOL. After a drink, Rach and I danced for AGES, Louise and Maz and Beckie n Logan woundnt dance. So Rach and I held up the dancing end of things. By the end of the night Maz and Louise were together. They ended up dancing in each others arms. Anyway. We had a really good night, I really want to dancing again soon, I didnt have Ellie with me, so I had Rach to dance with.
On Sunday morning I got up and dossed around the house until 2 when I got the bus into Kettering and meet up with Ellie and her mum took me to Wellingbourgh and we went bowling ( which I lost ) and I went to her house for dinner. Her mum is nice and she can cook very well. Also her brother Breon is cool. More shall follow no doubt.
That was my weekend, then on Monday things got worse ( because I had to go back to work )

Right you 'orrible lot ! :D Im back.

Admittedly Im not havin such an interesting life as Mr party animal up in Sheffield bt Im not dyin of bordom back in the ol' country. I mean I have work, which is getting INTERESTING shall we say because my boss and deputy boss had an argument with each other via the area manager, but that wont interest you much unless you know the intricasies of how Poundstreatcher works.
Also I have my puta which has been a great help in sustaining me by letting me play Age of Empires 2 ( which incidentally rocks ) I can wipe the floor with anyone pretty much. I now have a doctorine to win on that as well as Ra2. Although I havnt played Red Alert inna LONG time. Maybe I should go bck to it. Also I have my computer which helps me to write, yes I know I havent done any in a good wee while because I have a story in my head but I cant get it down on paper, maybe because its too complex. It involves Nazi's, Allies and Russians and is set in a deserted city at the end of WWII. That much is simple that much I do know.
Also recently ( end of September ) I meet a girl called Elenaor Finch who is mates with Lizzie Dobins. Ellie is now my girlfriend, and has been since Halloween. I wont go into all the soppy shit but I love her n she loves me ( or so she says :P ).
Also Craig, me, Han and Lizzie went to see Deep Heat ( Han's dads band ) at Sawyers again, it was the start of a very full weekend. Which I will recount in the next post.

Alone again (plus Hallowe'en party)

Well, once again I am sitting here in my room. Alone. Because it seems that everyone in my corridor has absolutely no skills in walking down the corridor and asking if I would wish to join in. Even when they are at this end of the corridor they neglect to invite me. I imagine they expect me to have my own psychic skills with which I would be able to perceive the day's doings. Or perhaps I'm being paranoid. I'm rooting for the latter.

Subject the second, Hallowe'en party
Last night was my Hall of Residence's Hallowe'en party, and it was a corker. Unsure whether or not to go, it was agreed by Cuan, Martin and myself that we would. A little later we decided we should go in costume, and Martin stumbled on the idea of going in togas. It fell to me, however, to fashion our bed sheets so that they covered the necessary places. They looked damned good when I'd finished though.
Down to the bar we went, to some congratulatory looks, hand claps, etc., and to some laughter indeed. Needless to say the first while was a laugh, as people came up and asked us what we were supposed to be, etc. and we spouted the same answers, over and over. After a while there was the compulsary best fancy dress award, of which there were 8. WE WON ONE OF THEM!!!!!! Me being me went up to get the prize of course, and it transpired that in order to win a prize, it was necessary for me to place my hand in a bucket of goop (a mixture of dog food, paint, old vegetables....) and pull out a plastic bag which contained the name of a prize. Lucky me got a booby prize which was labelled "a can of old ale". Fair enough, thought I, I can handle that. However, it should have been titled an old can of ale, as it was Northern Bitter, out of date as of August last year. After tasting it, then reading said date, I proceeded to offer it to other people before telling them the best before date. MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!
The night ended with me stealing many decorations, though I wasn't allowed to steal the axe (from the Angel with an Axe photo). DAMMIT!
The decorations are now around my room, and they don't half look pants! For a change my laundered clothes have been folded AND PUT AWAY!

Two big things happened since I last dropped in on you.
1) I went to Leeds, now this may sound like a little thing but a) it was the first time I've traveled on the train completely on my own and b) I went to my sisters 21st Birthday celebrations.
The train journey was cool, it was better on the way back because I knew what I was doing and also I had the Watchman by Ian Rankin to read. I looked dead interlectual on the way up because I was reading "Three Soldiers" by Jon Dos Passos ( he was one of Hemmingways contemporaries if you dont no who Hemmingway was ask me or look it up ), I sat 1st class on the way back.
In Leeds I stayed at my sisters and her husbands and I mange to get them locked out by puttin the wrong lock on the door ( when I was trying to be helpful ) so my brother in law ended up forcing the door. I ended up kipping in her student house, I got told to stay in her room so I didnt scare the rest of them or show myself up ( its a house full of women ), so I didnt get up on Sunday till my sister came to wake me, which was quiet late.
We went to the Chinese all you can eat near the market in Leeds on the Sunday, that was cool we ended up spending quiet abit of time there. I had 4 helpings because Im a greedy bastard mainly. Then we went to the cinema, and saw Sky Captain and the World of Tommorrow which is a Sci Fi film with holes in it, but its none the less and ok film and quite funny in places. I didnt notice any of the wholes that the write ups mentioned. So I thought it was good.
Then we went home and ma sis's house mates gave her a mini party as a suprise. Went home Monday morning. The train was delayed, but then it was Virgin. I wrote Beckie a letter on the train, which Im goin to post tomorrow.
2) Craig and I were privi to what Liz and her mates term a "video" night. Well it envolved quantities of alchol and also films, I watched all of Ten Things I hate about you and quite abit of King Arthur. I did fall asleep through King Arthur though. I missed the crucial bit ( the fighting ), but I meet Tara ( who is possibly the nicest person I have meet ( thank you )) I get her stamp of approval too, that is quiet an important thing. I was abit stupid though because I lay on the floor of an old house ( ie not that insulated ) with only a t-shirt and trousers on. So I ended up VERY COLD,however I have Tara to thank for makin me go n get my jacket n walming myself up in the end. So that was all cool. Unfortuantely the one person who I kinda wanted to be there wasnt there, but still it was a really fun night.
Oh and I never got to watch Beauty and the Beast which Hannah has told me I have to watch.
Yea thats it really. OOOO and I got Tirmusu flavoured choclates from work today ! Yum !
